Located across from the Louisiana-Pearl light rail station
Attention, Denver! City life just got a whole lot nicer. Flower Wraps Café and Urban Market is now open at 1313 South Clarkson Street. As a full-service café, flower shop, gift store, and catering business, Flower Wraps offers a rich menu of services to nourish and delight. From breakfast to aperitifs, from takeout to catered box lunches, from gorgeous fresh-flower bouquets to whimsical gifts and kitchen ware, Flower Wraps has your every need all wrapped up and ready to go. Need a custom-designed ice sculpture with that? No problem.
Flower Wraps offers:
Customers can order everything to go (including a 10-cup takeout coffee pot that will make anyone an office hero), or sit and enjoy their selections in Flower Wrap’s clean, bright, contemporary interior. With floor-to-ceiling windows that face the RTD Louisiana Street Light Rail Station, it’s a great place to people watch, too.
Located just south of the station in the brand new Louisiana Station Lofts building, Flower Wraps is positioned to become a commuter’s best friend. Rail riders can stop in for a cup of coffee and a warm breakfast wrap to go. And, with Flower Wrap’s Fastracks lunch program ($7.50 a day), they can also pick up their choice of sandwich, side, and dessert packed in an insulated, reusable nylon sack (fresh water bottle included). Next best thing to having Mom pack your lunch? Considering items like the Santa Fe Turkey Wrap or pesto potato salad, it might be better.
A scan of a typical morning crowd reveals coworkers gathered for an informal business meeting, sleepy-eyed locals and, on weekends, bicyclists and runners fueling up for the road ahead. Posted in the shop is that clarion call to telecommuters everywhere: “We have wi-fi.”
All of the coffees served at Flower Wraps are of premium quality. “We serve only Silver Canyon coffee,” co-owner Val Erpelding says, referring to the 22-year-old Boulder-based coffee company, “because of their dedication to quality and the craftsmanship with which they roast their coffees.”
With fresh orchids and bouquets throughout the shop, Flower Wrap’s ambiance is a refreshing antidote to the dark, cookie-cutter interior of some corporate coffee chains. Comfort seems to be the theme, from the warm soups to the hot freshly brewed java. And if stress or heartache has gotten the best of you, you can console yourself with the Decadent Chocolate Plate, a mesmerizing collection of fine chocolates. The chocolates offered at Flower Wraps are among the world’s finest, including Michel Cluizel from France and Lake Champlain Chocolates from Vermont.
